Conferences and Other Events in Q1

  • Winter AMA (Feb 14-16): This year's Winter AMA was held in Phoenix! The AI-SIG organized a panel session featuring Alok Saboo, Yakov Bart, Prof. Dr. Koen Pauwels, Dr. Kay Peters, and Pankhuri Malhotra on the uses of GenAI in marketing research. Ceren Kolsarici and Shane Wang shared insights on model race and retail pricing, as well as cross-modal emotional consistency in multi-modal content. Congratulations! to Khai Chiong, and co-authors: Ishita Chakraborty, K. Sudhir, and Dr. Howard Dover for receiving the inaugural Best Paper Award in AI in Marketing Research.

  • SCP 2025 (Feb 27 - Mar 2): The Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP) Annual Conference recently took place in Las Vegas, centered on the theme “Amplifying our Impact to Enhance Consumers’ Lives.” The conference showcased cutting-edge research, with a strong focus on AI and its impact on consumer behavior.
